For me, this game was mostly notable for one thing: The continuing phenomena of my inability to hit a wide open net. If I ever manage to find the groove I might become the greatest goal scorer this side of Diego Forlán. But, until then, I’m just a flop.
Props to Yo for reinforcing my single apparent talent in a coaching role: The uncanny ability to spot a cold-blooded, goal scoring, striker. With his second goal in as many games, Yo is on a course to score more than I miss. Which won’t be an easy thing to do.
Los Pinos is up next. I expect a very competitive, and hard fought, encounter. It’s always like that against this team. But, please heed my advice on one small matter. Whatever you do, DON’T PARK BEHIND THE GOAL! That seems to be where I do most of my damage!
